The book shows that we should treat people in a good way even if they are not like us. It reveals the horrible consequences of inhumanity, the meaningless suffering and unbearable pain of innocent people. These reasons show that the book is very important for the grown-ups because it deals with fundamental questions about humanity and moral values.
This book should not be banned even though it portrays so many violent moments because it shows us the horrible reality of racial prejudice and discrimination. SIP-A Montag is not willing to believe what the society says about books and is denying it. STEWE-1 Even though Montag has read the books that he hid and does not understand them he still tries.
Even though his society has said books are harmful he reads them and does not hesitate to read again, even though Beatty said to Montag books have nothing in them he still reads, he rejected his society and is not willing to believe what Beatty says is true. STEWE-2 Montag realizes how the people of the society are so distracted from the world and sees how wrong it is. A main concept in the play Antigone is pride. In class, we discussed the topic of pride and watched a Ted Talk along with it about the fear of being wrong.
It relates to King Kreon because as a leader, he wanted to be powerful and make his own decisions. Mark Twain chose Huck Finn as the narrator because of his innocence and ignorance towards the views of society. Every person who has entered his life has tried to create this image of Huck that wasn't realistic to him in any way, except Jim.
Huck does mature as the time they spend together increases, Huck has never met stability in his life until Jim which is why he takes a liking to him. Jem and Scout are taught a very different, and more humane, way of treating people, regardless of how different the person may be, by their father, Atticus. Through the use of symbolism, characterization and setting shows the way that even ordinary people pursue traditions that create tension and harmful outcomes to anyone involved.
